CBSE PRACTICAL EXAMINATION DATES RELEASED

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for Class 12 Practical Board Exams on its official website on 12th December 2018. According to the circular uploaded on the website of CBSE, the practical examinations for class 12 should be conducted from 16th Jan 2019 to 15th Feb 2019, except in Allahabad due to Kumbh Mela celebrations. It also disclosed that, in Allahabad, Board of practical examination for 12th standard CBSE will be held from 1st Jan 2019. Also, the board had informed the school heads that the practical examination should be conducted invariably in two different sessions if the number of candidates attending the practical exam is more than 20. With regard to date sheet of theory exams for 10th and 12th standard CBSE, there has been no update on the official website yet. Government has tightened certain norms for the eCommerce firms, such as Amazon and Flipkart on Wednesday. It has put forth several measures that bar eCommerce companies from selling products of companies they hold a stake in. Apart from this, The Commerce and Industry Ministry prohibited these companies from entering into agreements for the exclusive sale of products. "An entity having equity participation by eCommerce marketplace entity or its group companies, or having control on its inventory by eCommerce marketplace entity or its group companies, will not be permitted to sell its products on the platform run by such marketplace entity," stated the Ministry. It was also said that the vendors should be provided with services on a marginal platform in a fair and non-discriminatory manner by the revised policy on foreign direct investment in retail firms.
