SAMSUNG TO UNVEIL ITS GALAXY-X



Adapting to the rapid changes of the existent phones itself signifies the constant development and innovation in technology as exemplified by Samsung which has recently bagged a new feature in its upcoming galaxy phone. The company is expected to showcase the Galaxy foldable handset codenamed “winner” at the upcoming Samsung developer conference on November 7th and 8th  in San Francisco.
Being tight-lipped about its upcoming features it has finally let the cat out of the bag by giving the spectators few hints regarding galaxy foldable phone which was alleged to be named as “Galaxy X” at an exclusive media R&D center visit in Seoul. Samsung also stated that it doesn’t want just ‘foldable’ aspect as the highlight of its new Galaxy phone. Harksang Kim, Senior Vice President and Head of Mobile Visual R&D at Samsung Electronics proclaimed that “Simply making a foldable screen is just not enough. It just gives a larger screen. We are focusing more on the features that the user should get when they unfold the device”.

Samsung has been working on this Smartphone for the past four years. The company recently took to Twitter to post the teaser. The tweet ads, "The crossroads between the present and the future – Samsung Developer Conference is where you’ll meet the knowledge needed to stay on tech’s cutting edge. #SDC18."

Besides the foldable display, the challenge has been accommodating the battery, camera module, and other internal hardware. Being the foldable device it is said that the Samsung might add one camera module on the galaxy foldable phone which help click photos or selfies by just turning the phone around.

On the other hand, Samsung has also ensured the largest screen-to-body ratio for the foldable Galaxy X. This creates an ease for the users to carry the foldable phones in their pockets with hardly any bezels which adds to the traditional look of the phone. Along with this, the phone will also offer a 7-inch display and the most interesting part is that this display might not necessarily fold into half. Samsung could have engineered it to fold in two-thirds to allow the top part of the display for the display of notifications, battery, time and other instant information. The phone will make its way to get launched at the end of this year with the chances of introducing on November 3, 2018.
